Dr. Rom offers both mediumship sittings (messages from loved ones in spirit) and psychic readings (clear and focused insights about your life events).   Appointments are available for in-person sessions in midtown, New York, as well as by telephone (recordable if requested and available both nationally and internationally), and by Skype.  Current rates are $150.00 per session and up to two people may attend at the same time.  Each session lasts one hour.  Sessions are booked on a first-come, first-served basis by calling Dr. Rom's office at 510.496.3496.

For private appointments you may prepay online via PayPal, below, or by calling Dr. Rom's New York office at 510.496.3496 to secure your in-person, phone, or Skype session with a major debit or credit card.   All cards will be charged a full 24 hours in advance of your appointment.  For in-person appointments, you still need to reserve by card, but you may choose to pay in cash instead of your card being charged on the day of your appointment--just be sure to mention this during scheduling.

Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy

Dr. Rom requires a 24-hour advance notice to reschedule or cancel private  appointments.  If you need to reschedule an appointment, it must be with a 24-hour advance notice by phone to 510.496.3496.  To reschedule for any reason with less than 24 hours of the appointment, there is a $50 rescheduling fee.   If you must cancel an appointment for any reason, you must also cancel at least 24 hours in advance by calling 510.496.3496.  If you have not called to reschedule or cancel your appointment within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, and you also do not show up for an in-person appointment, or are not available at the time you have scheduled a phone or Skype appointment, your debit or credit card will be charged  the full fee for the no-show appointment.

Preparing for Your Appointment

The most important way to prepare for your appointment  is to simply be relaxed.  For in-person appointments, please be prepared to start your session on time and give yourself a few minutes to relax once you arrive.  Telephone and Skype callers would do well to prepare themselves with a quiet, comfortable environment, free of all distractions, for the entire hour.  More information about on how to prepare for a session is available on the Frequently Asked Questions page.


Good-Faith Policy

Fees charged are exclusively for Dr. Rom's time and not for any specific content or result.  Furthermore, Dr. Rom also reminds clients that no medium can guarantee contact with any particular spirit communicator at any particular time.   For this reason, please come to the session open-minded about who may come through. You might hear from someone who has passed recently or a long time ago, someone you were close with, or someone you knew distantly.  Sometimes a number of loved ones will come through, at other times, perhaps only one special person.  Remember, mediums don't "conjure up spirits"--we simply open the door and listen.

However, Dr. Rom also believes in a good-faith policy of doing business. If for any reason she cannot make any spiritual connection for you on the day of your session, she will end the session with you immediately and there will be no charge.  At that point you may choose to reschedule your session for a future date.  Fortunately, this rarely occurs.
